Who we are
The Sunbeam Clinic is operated by Amelia Coutisson, a sole trader based in Dorset, UK. For the purposes of data protection law, Amelia Coutisson is the “data controller” responsible for your personal data.

What information we collect
Contact form: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
Bookings (via Calendly): name, email address, phone number, and appointment details.
Homeopathy, Magnetic Analysis and Iridology consultations: health information, medical history and lifestyle details shared during your consultation (“case notes”). This is “special category data” under UK GDPR and is handled with extra care, see “Health information” below.
Postal address, where remedies are posted to you.
Payment information, processed directly by our payment provider (Squarespace Payments/Stripe), we do not store your card details ourselves.
Newsletter sign-up: your email address only, no name is collected, via Squarespace's subscriber list.

Health information
Information shared during a homeopathy, magnetic analysis or iridology consultation is treated as special category health data. We only collect what's needed to provide safe, informed treatment, and we ask for your explicit consent to hold this information as part of booking your first appointment. How we use your information
To provide yoga classes, homeopathy consultations, magnetic analysis and related services (contract).
To process bookings, payments and post remedies to you (contract).
To provide homeopathic treatment and keep accurate case notes for your ongoing care (explicit consent, and our legitimate interest in providing safe, well-informed treatment).
To send you our monthly newsletter and offers, only if you've opted in and confirmed via the verification link sent to your email (consent, you can unsubscribe at any time).
To respond to enquiries sent via the contact form (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the business, they only receive the information needed to do their job, and don't use it for their own marketing:
Squarespace, website hosting and payment processing
Calendly, appointment booking
Royal Mail / courier services, to post remedies to you
We don't sell your data, and we don't share your health information with anyone outside of providing your treatment, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
General enquiries and contact form messages are kept for 7 years, newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact hello@thesunbeamclinic.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how your data has been handled.
Children (Under 18)
Homeopathy sessions are sometimes provided for children and babies. Where this applies, consent is given by a parent or guardian on the child's behalf.
