Happy Easter Holidays
Here in the UK we are in the fullness of Spring bloom. This is my favourite time of the year. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Spring is governed by the wood element which means in the same way as wood grows, we feel a sense of growth in this season, a newness. With this growth, however, brings up emotions as Spring is also associated with the liver. Did you know that the emotion attributed to the Liver and gallbladder is anger? So if you’re experiencing rising or constant anger, it could be indicative of a liver imbalance.
Read more about my variety of Liver remedies below, each slightly different to the other and they work well together too. Us homeopaths work holistically, taking everything into account - your organs (liver), your emotions, sleep, physical and mental symptoms, and weird and wonderful things like your phobias and food cravings. Your liver is as unique as you are.
Remaining on the theme of the Liver, this month’s tissue salt is Natrum Sulph. Natrum sulphuricum is indicated for those who suffer from liver disorders, joint pains and conditions aggravated by dampness. So as we enter the astrological time of water focused Taurus’ you might like to take Nat.Sulph. daily to support your constitution.
Can you see a pattern? Those of you taking note of my monthly newsletters each month will see that in each star sign there is a predisposition which is so brilliantly supported by the relevant tissue salt.
I hope you enjoy reading this newsletter as much as I enjoyed researching and writing it. Please do get in touch, I love hearing from you.
Until then, here's to your good health,

FOLLOWING ON FROM LAST MONTH’S POST ABOUT HAY FEVER
Did you know food contains histamine? By finding out the aggravators in your diet we can lower your symptoms. I will find the root cause of your allergic reaction and after some time you can re-introduce these foods.
The following foods contain higher levels of histamine:
- Fermented dairy products, such as cheese (especially aged), yogurt, sour cream, buttermilk, and kefir
- fermented vegetables, such as sauerkraut and kimchi
pickles or pickled veggies
- kombucha
- cured or fermented meats, such as sausages, salami, and fermented ham
- wine, beer, alcohol, and champagne
- fermented soy products such as tempeh, miso, soy sauce, and natto fermented grains, such as sourdough bread
- tomatoes
- aubergine
- spinach
- frozen, salted, or canned fish, such as sardines and tuna
- vinegar
- tomato ketchup
Histamine intolerance can also mean you have low reserves of magnesium. Try taking a Magnesium supplement (MAG365) or eating food rich in magnesium because magnesium makes diamine oxidase, an enzyme that helps the body to eliminate excess histamine in food.
TOP TIP! In a flare up you could take a scoop of Mag365 powder in water and sip to alleviate the symptoms - this is not a cure, just helpful.
HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR THE LIVER
Our eyes are the opening to our liver and they can be affected if our liver is not working optimally but also if we might be angry about something; as I’ve said above, anger is the emotion of the liver. So how are your eyes? Do you wear glasses? When did you start to wear glasses, were you angry about something beforehand? Trust me, the two can be linked.
Our liver has a lot to do; it’s our main organ for detoxifying chemicals, processing nutrients and regulating hormones.
5 liver and gallbladder homeopathic remedies:
SULPHUR - one remedy for styes of the eyes as well as the liver and skin; rashes worsened by heat and water.
BERBERIS VULGARIS – aids detox process of the liver and kidneys which helps clear the skin
TARAXACUM (or dandelion) – helps headaches and night sweats related to alcohol
CHELIDONIUM – tonic for the liver, gall-bladder and pancreas
YELLOW - the colour yellow directly affects our digestion and stimulates the stomach, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. When the vital force is low, yellow helps unblock congestion and shift energy. Extremely useful for colds and weakened lungs.
HOMEOPATHY FOR CANCER
Homeopathic Medicine is a brilliant option for any Cancer diagnosis to treat and reduce the morbid side effects of cancer treatment. Nausea, tiredness, toxicity overload - I can give supporting remedies to help the body detox from these toxic chemicals and give organ support to boost strength and recovery.
Not only that, the shock of a diagnosis can be overwhelming for both the patient and family. A prescription of shock remedies in a high potency can help alleviate symptoms of shock (which debilitate the body) allowing for a calmer mindset, better sleep and a pause to make decisions moving forward. It’s helpful for fellow family members’ shock (or denial) too.
Of course when treating cancer with homeopathy it’s important to get to the root cause of the cancer, how it manifested in the first place as well as supporting the physical symptoms and the debilitating side effects of allopathic cancer drugs.
As a registered homeopathic practitioner, I can help you to obtain a gentler outcome on the body and mind. Below is an article published in the National Library of Medicine, the review analysed eight studies of homeopathic medicines for the prevention or treatment of adverse effects of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and menopausal symptoms caused by hormonal therapies or oestrogen withdrawal.

HIGH QUALITY RESEARCH
Homeopathy is the second most used system of medicine. One factor that comes up when a conversation about Homeopathy is RESEARCH and the supossed lack of research. In fact, there is a lot of research out there and the Homeopathic Research Institute works tirelessly to support questions from people who’ve grown up with a more western approach to medication.

Stress less by using B.R.A.I.N
Do you know this brilliant acronym for decision making? The BRAIN acronym is a logical and stress-reducing tool that helps you evaluate a situation by considering the Benefits, Risks, Alternatives, Intuition, and Nothing (or need more time). It's often used in healthcare, particularly during childbirth, but can be adapted for various situations. I use it all the time!
Here's a breakdown of each letter:
B - Benefits: What are the potential advantages of making this decision?
R - Risks: What are the potential negative consequences or complications of making this decision?
A - Alternatives: Are there other options or ways to approach the situation?
I - Intuition: How do you feel about this decision? What is your gut telling you?
N - Nothing/Need Time: What if you choose to do nothing or wait and see? What happens then?
By considering each of these aspects, you can make a more informed and thoughtful decision with less stress. Essential right? Read more HERE
A POSITIVE YELLOW CARD FOR REPORTING SIDE EFFECTS OF MEDICATION
Did you know you can report side effects of medication, vaccinations and even vapes? It is really important we do report any effects, even mild ones, so we gain a database of symptoms caused by drugs (I spend a lot of my time treating side effects before I am able to treat the root cause). Doctors should tell you about this when they prescribe drugs or vaccinate but unfortunately they don’t.
Now you know, you can share this with your friends and family:
